Hi! I’m Kate. I have been making art for as long as I can remember. In high school and college, I experimented with painting, drawing and writing graffiti. After graduating college, I moved to Florence, Italy to study painting and printmaking.

I then moved to San Francisco, where I began to make mixed media art using stitching, embroidery and silk screen. In 2009 I settled in Queens, New York, developing my illustration work inspired by nature, the city around me, and my children.

I live in Sunnyside, Queens with my husband and three children. I work in my basement studio, creating paintings, prints, kids decor, and more.
